Known for their energetic live shows, the band has made a name for themselves, playing packed clubs, as well as the festival circuit. The Great Blue Heron , Blind Baby's Holiday, and the Rhubarb Family Picnic,to name a few. This multiple award-winning band has been turning heads, and shaking bodies, since 2002, when it was formed by guitarist and vocalist, Matthew Baxter, and keyboardist-vocalist Mark Cooper. Add a dynamic front man in vocalist, Jonny Johnson, and a powerhouse back line with Matt Clark on drums, and Ryan Ecklund on bass. Their, unique sound has been described as,"Curtis Mayfield... on steroids!". But that's only one of many influences heard in this bands music.
