RON YAROSZ & THE VEHICLE

"Being beat down, washed up, and run over is what set me on my way…" the opening line to the Hammond B3 heavy original song Breaking Point sets the tone for taking a ride with the Vehicle. The band is fronted by Ron Yarosz who was refered to by the Beale Street Caravan as a "Harmonica and B3 maestro" (October 2010). His soulful powerful vocals are ownly overshadowed by the fact that he loads a 565 pound organ by himself. (two wheels on the ground…nobody gets hurt!).
On guitar is one of the most exciting young guitar players to come around in a long time…Eric Brewer. He was a finalist at Guitar Player Magazine’s Superstar competition in 2008 which prompted Joe Satriani to complement on his "amazing technique" and Steve Vai to say "I’m impressed with your chops and how you ebbed and flowed the energy". His high energy solos get the crowd hollering for more!
The Rhythm section is made up of Ron Sutton…(who has honed his craft all over the globe playing with such acts as Bernard Allison, Jasson Ricci, and Hadden Sayers) and Ralph Reitinger on Bass (Who has toured with Harper, Anthony Gomes, and others). They all call Erie, PA home.
Ron Splits time fronting the band on Harmonica and leading it from behind the B3. The band has a deep well of original material to draw from and does their own versions of some of their most loved blues songs. They are contestants in the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis in Feb 2011.
