Jayke Orvis has spent the last 15 years playing and recording music for many differant types of underground music. He was a founding member of the .357 String Band and is currently touring with The Goddamn Gallows playing clawhammer banjo and mandolin.
Jayke grew up in Milwauke, Wi and played in various streetpunk projects through the years. Having a profound love for rootsy music and old americana, he started playing mandolin after getting one as a wedding gift. We later went on to form the .357 String Band with other milwaukee based musicians.
He currently lives in Pittsburgh, Pa where he hosts a weekly "roots-music night" and spins records at local bars, and continues to tour with The Goddamn Gallows.
